IS THERE A CANCELLATION POLICY?
We understand that things happen and schedules change and try to be as accommodating as we can!
We ask that any schedule changes for their upcoming week be made my the Sunday before the new week begins. We put a lot of time into curating the best route for our team members and changes to this during the week can cause big changes to the team members schedule that can require full rerouting and/or our dedicated staff losing out on a visit time slot that was assigned to them. It is important that our staff fill the times that we have them booked for and we hold these spaces for your pets every week to ensure that we are available for them. SAME DAY CANCELLATIONS ARE BILLED FOR THE NORMAL VISIT FEE.
Please contact Rebecca for any questions and schedule changes can be made on our Time to Pet scheduling software online or through your TTP app.
ARE YOU INSURED and BONDED?
Yes! Not only is your pet covered during our visits, your sitter, your home, and your valuables are as well!
I have up to date Pet Sitter insurance through Pet Sitter Associates (http://www.petsitllc.com/).
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM OR MAXIMUM NUMBER OF VISITS PER DAY FOR PET SITTING?
Your pets happiness and health is our number one priority when you put their care in our hands. Most of our clients book us for 3 visits per day for their canines and/or once a day for felines. Although quite often we have clients that will add on a 4th mid day visit or add additional time to their visits outside of the normal 20 minutes.
Our feline clients will often add a second daily visit for medicine, specialized feeding, or extra attention. We are happy to provide multiple visits per day and offer 20/40/60 minute pet sitting sessions.
For Canines, To ensure that your pup is getting an adequate amount of potty breaks throughout the day, companionship, and is safe we do have a minimum requirement of 3 visits per day for clients that are out of town for more than 24 hours. These generally are in the time frames of 7-8:30am/3:30-5:30pm/9-11:30pm. Depending on your leave and return times, the first and last days are adjusted as needed. The only exception to this rule is if your dog has a doggy door that they are able to utilize for potty breaks.
For Felines, we require at least one visit per day and can not accommodate every other day requests.
CAN YOU LEAVE MY PET OUTSIDE BETWEEN VISITS?
While some pets are accustomed to being outside during the day, for insurance purposes and the safety of your pets while in our care, we do not allow pets outside unsupervised. There are so many factors that come into play when a pet is outside that are out of our control i.e torrential weather, wildlife, heat strokes, accidental openings for escape, etc.
HOW WILL I KNOW THAT MY PET IS BEING CARED FOR WHILE I AM AWAY?
While you are away, you will be updated in our Time to Pet portal each visit to let you know how your pet(s) is doing. There is a certain trust that one has to have with their pet sitter while they are away, but we want to ensure that you have no doubts that your pet(s) is happy and healthy. We encourage you to download out Time to Pet app, as we will update with a note on how your pet(s) did for each visit as well as pictures too!
SHOULD I INFORM ANYONE THAT YOU WILL BE PET SITTING FOR ME?
Yes. Please let your emergency contact know that you will have us in your home. Also, if you have someone that is stopping by the home or has a key, please let us know so that we are not alarmed that someone else is in your home. If we arrive at the home and there is an unknown person there, we do not know if they are safe or are supposed to be in your home otherwise.
WHAT DO I DO IF MY PETS HEALTH CHANGES?
In Time to Pet, you are given the freedom of updating your pets health records easily. If anything changes with your pets health or if you notice anything that needs attention, please let us know right away. We keep a watchful eye out for changes with your pets, and will immediately let you know through TTP if we have any concerns.
